Jack Wilshere may have landed himself in trouble after appearing to make an offensive gesture towards supporters during Arsenal's 6-3 defeat by Manchester City.
Wilshere appeared to use the gesture in a reaction to ironic cheers after protesting to referee Martin Atkinson's awarding of a goal-kick to City.
The midfielder endured a frustrating afternoon as the home side secured a deserved victory to climb to second in the Barclays Premier League and move three points shy of Arsene Wenger's team.

The Arsenal manager will already be concerned about Laurent Koscielny being removed on a stretcher after suffering a reported deep laceration to his knee in the first half and Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker having an on-pitch bust up at full-time.
'I didn't see that,' said Wenger when asked about the incident.
'I don't know if he did it. If he did it and he receives a ban, we will have to accept it.'
After similar incidents, Liverpool's Luis Suarez was given a one-match and £20,000 fine for improper conduct in a fixture away to Fulham in December 2011, and Stephen Carr a ban and £10,000 fine for a lewd gesture made playing for Birmingham away to Aston Villa in 2010. The FA then used Carr's case as a precedent for punishing Suarez.
